Many of today’s caravans are far too big and heavy, with no one thinking of the little guy. These caravans are great for the solo traveller or customers simply not wanting to tow a large caravan. The Micro range by Paramount is compact, lightweight, and has some very clever layout designs. This range consists of compact designs ranging from 14’-17’6. Many of the models can be built in either a Pop top or Caravan depending on your storage needs. The best thing about these little vans is also the ability to custom-build the layouts. Whether you need single beds or a queen bed, an L-shape lounge or straight lounge, or a combination shower & toilets, we have you covered.
This particular 14′ Micro is a pop-top version that can give you the added convenience of lower travel height for storage. As you walk in the rear side door you are met with a fully equipped kitchen to the right. The kitchen is fitted with a 4-burner cooktop and grill, rangehood, sink with drinking water filtered tap, and microwave. Right in front of you is a very spacious combination shower and toilet with an inbuilt sink and tap. The mirrored door creates the illusion of the van being much bigger than it is and creates more natural lighting during the day.
As you walk down the caravan to your right, we have fitted a large 175L 3-way two-door fridge, full-height pantry, and robe. Opposite this area, you have a spacious straight lounge with the Coast-to-Coast movable table leg and overhead cupboards.
Up the front, you have loads of Overhead cupboard storage with a queen innerspring east-west bed. The caravan has a reverse cycle air conditioner and gas/elec hot water service.
Externally the caravan has a 4″ chassis and 2″ riser with an extended A-frame. Running on rubber torsion 2700KG suspension, 15″ wheels, 10″ brakes complete with the safety feature of having the Dexter DSC anti-sway system. The caravan is fitted with twin 9KG gas bottles, 100amp battery, 200watt solar panel, 100L grey water tank, and two 95L water tanks all ran through the PM200 unit. External storage is no issue with the extended A-frame to provide you with the ability to fit a toolbox to suit your needs and a front tunnel boot which can be additional storage or you can install a front BBQ slide for outdoor entertaining.
